Saturday Morning Market has come a long way in its 2 short years of existence. We’ve grown to become the largest market in the state, and had an enlivening impact on our community.

We think they're a variety of ways we can make the market an even more vibrant community experience. The growth of the market has been driven by the efforts of a dedicated group of volunteers. And we need the help of enthusiastic volunteers to bring these new possibilities into reality.

We need help with a variety of interesting projects. Many of these activities can be tailored to fit your interests, talents, and schedule. Call us to find out more about how you could help!

The following are examples of projects we need help with:

• Special Events - Planning periodic Festivals featuring craft demonstrations, performers, contests and more.
  
• Educational Booths – Coordinating a special row of educational booths highlighting community organizations (e.g. human services, cultural, and service organizations)
  
• Downtown Promotion – Coordinating discount opportunities with neighboring businesses (Downtown, Gallery district, Grand Central District)
  
• Market Tent – Greeting the public and answering questions about the market.

• Presentations – Planning and making presentations at neighborhood meetings.
  
• Flyer Distribution - Distributing market flyers to hotels, neighborhood centers, libraries, etc
  
• Calendars - Submitting information to community calendars (online & print-based).
  
• Email List - Maintaining the email address list of market customers.
  
• Newsletter - Writing and distributing periodic email newsletter to market customers.
